    A little warmth, humor, and telling-it-like-it-is allows us to make such strong connections with our clients. We truly want to build long lasting relationships, and we have many many clients we’ve known for years – we are truly so thankful!

  • LUMAesthetics was built on experience, good calm energy, and trust. We want our clients to feel heard and empowered, and value open communication and education.

    We believe there CAN be too much of some things, and we want to teach our clients while building their trust in us. We value honesty and building long-term relationships over hitting internal sales goals.

    Sometimes we say ‘no’, sometimes we suggest other options. But it’s because we care.

  • LUMAesthetics provide services that should enhance your already beautiful features. You will not leave feeling like you have a whole new face, but instead a refreshed, brighter you.

    Christy and Alexx inject not just fillers and Botox, but also a little warmth and compassion into every appointment. Not everyone is comfortable around needles, let’s be honest! But we hope to make you smile and feel confident in our short time together.

    Our office may be small, but it is a safe place for all.

  • LUMAesthetics was previously il-LUMA-nate (from 2023-2025).

    When Christy started the business, she named it with her supportive family in mind. Her two daughters, Lucy and Mara, provided a perfect combined name: LU-MA. And thus, il-LUMA-nate (then LUMAesthetics) was born.

    In early 2026 we changed our business name to LUMAesthetics. It’s a bit of a long story, and you can ask us about it at your next appointment!

    Our business name may have changed, but Christy and Alexx have been the sole providers and have been injecting together for almost 5 years.

Hello! I'm Christy, a dedicated Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Rochester, NY. My birthplace shaped my path in profound ways (though I do wonder why my parents couldn’t have settled somewhere warmer!). I'm a proud alumna of the University of Buffalo School of Nursing and the University of Rochester, where I earned my master's degree.

My medical career started in the intense world of Cardiac Surgery ICU at Strong and later, I expanded my expertise as an RNFA, assisting in surgeries at Rochester General Hospital. This diverse experience, especially in cardiac surgery, laid the foundation for my deep understanding of patient care.

But then, a pivotal moment came with my foray into the world of aesthetics, particularly being introduced to Botox in Rochester (and perhaps a touch of lip filler!). This was more than a career shift; I instantly fell in love with the field. Since then I have been immersed in aesthetics, finding immense joy in enhancing confidence and well-being in a personal, impactful way.

I believe that trusting someone with your aesthetic journey is a significant step. In Rochester, where I've built my practice, I ensure each client feels heard, cared for, and thrilled with their results. My approach is all about understanding, precision, and the happiness that comes from seeing you look and feel your best.

As a mother to two beautiful daughters, Lucy and Mara (the LU-MA of LUMAesthetics!), and supported by a husband who's helped me live my dream, I bring a nurturing, empathetic perspective to my work. I see life as a journey in all its facets, and I would be honored to guide and be a part of your aesthetic journey.

Alexx Peck

My name is Alexx Peck and I’ve been a registered nurse since 2017. I completed my associates degree in nursing at Finger Lakes Health college of nursing and my bachelors degree at university of Rochester. My background consists of neonatal intensive care, pediatric surgery, and I’ve been doing cosmetic injectables since 2021.

I started getting Botox myself in 2020 prior to my wedding and instantly fell in love! So much so that I wanted to make a career out of it. And when I want something, I’m determined to make it happen! A year later I was hired at a local Medspa where I met Christy and now here we are! 

I absolutely love what I do and this job means more to me than simply injecting faces. My favorite part about being an injector is getting to know each and every one of you as a person. 

I pride myself on taking the time to truly listen to everyone who sits in my chair and their aesthetic goals. I believe that follow up is so important and I want all my clients to be 100% happy! I always have your best interest in mind and will never do a service if I don’t think it will benefit you. Yes - that means I might say no to you if you don’t need more lip filler quite yet!
